Focus on coexistence

How did Jews live in the Surbtal? What was their daily life like alongside the Christian population? What changes came about with the freedom of settlement granted in 1866? And why did the Zurzach trade fair play such a key role?

The guided tour explores these questions, focusing on Jewish life in Switzerland and neighbouring countries.
