The Jewish Community Centre in Endingen was built in 1806. It has been part of the townscape for over 200 years and a lively gathering place for many years. Community leaders gathered here, discussions were held, decisions were made, and, until the new schoolhouse opened, children were given lessons here.
The rabbi lived on the upper floor, and sometimes the cantor as well. Even back then, the house was not only a community gathering place but also a home.
The building still belongs to the Jewish Community of Endingen and serves as a residential building.
